In some areas spring marks the beginning of the growing season. But in Whistler, it means (among other things) spring skiing. Historically, March is one of the heaviest snowfall months for the area. So if you’re not quite ready to stow the skis for the season, head to Whistler for one last glorious shot at the snow. In March and April, the daylight lasts longer—and the chairlifts stay open for an extra half hour or so. That gives you time for one more downhill run in one of the greatest ski areas in North America.
